Giovanna Caprirolo, MD

Dr. Giovanna Caprirolo is an associate professor of clinical pediatrics with SIU School of Medicine, specializing in the care of critically ill children in the hospital. Caprirolo completed her fellowship in pediatric critical care medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI and a pediatric residency at SIU School of Medicine in Springfield, IL. She earned her medical degree at the Universidad Mayor de San Simon in Cochabamba, Bolivia.

Caprirolo is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric critical care medicine, and is a member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
